Girl Talks and Advice- What to do in a sticky friendship situation

As many girls come across the teen years, their friends who they believed to be their true friends, turn out not so much. I have had one on one experience with this, although I wont go into much/any of my personal life. During middle school girls change. ALOT. Some girls go boy-crazy, some go quiet, and some turn in to backstabbers and gossipers. It really just depends on the girl and your relationship with them. If any of you are in a hard situation where you cant seem to find the right friends, I suggest just reaching out, being talkative, sitting with new people. Over the summer I had some hard issues with girls being extremely rude and harsh to me. These were the girls whom I considered to be my best friends. At the start of my school year, I began to sit with different girls. By doing so I completely changed into someone with fake friends to someone with true friends, including the girls that run this blog with me. Although finding your place in middle school may be hard, everything will turn out for the better. Since my sixth grade year I have hung out with girls who became boy crazy, girls who became backstabbers, and a few extremely nice girls but just did not have the same interests as me. Be aware that Girls can be harsh, rude, mean and cruel sometimes but all you can do is try and avoid those types of people. Just take my word and know that girls can change. Before the summer I believed that the girls I hung out with would carry on with me through high school and forever be my best friends, not true. Also during middle school try and reach out maybe to even guys. I have a guy friend at my school, as do the other girls that run this blog. One of the main problems in girls today is gossip. Talking about others in harsh ways when you are kind to their face- two faced people. Even I have a problem with gossiping and I am trying to prevent it. Saying mean things about people behind their backs is the most hurtful thing a person can do, even if you dislike the people you talk about.
