Benifits to Water!

Hey guys! Hope you are having an amazing day! So I know you guys already know and have had multiple people in your ear about making sure you drink lots of water! Doctors, parents, and coaches especially in the summer really want you to stay hydrated. We don't want you passing out in the middle of the field or when you are about to go swimming! Here are some life hacks, benefits, and reasons to drinking water.

  • If you drink about 16 ounces when you wake up will help you get up faster, boosts your metabolism 24%
  • Helps with weight loss
  • Helps you create more blood cells and muscle cells
  • Purifies your colon making it easier to absorb nutrients
  • If you drink at least 8 glasses of (8 oz.) water a day it helps clear your skin and makes you have "glowing" skin
  • If you drink at least 8 oz. before you eat it helps you digest 
  • If you drink 8 oz. before taking a bath it helps lowers your blood pressure
  • Drinking water in general reduces your risk of getting a disease or infection
  • Water flushes toxins
  • Drinking water in general burns fat and builds more muscle
  • Helps you be alert and stay energized (good for when you are super tired and having trouble staying awake at school)
  • Its just good for you in general!
In conclusion try and drink as much water as possible, but do not drown your insides with water! You should be drinking about 8 glasses of water a day. 1 glass of water is about 8 oz. Water can help you in so many ways. If it is hard for you to drink water throughout the day just keep a water bottle with you during class or work and fill it up whenever you need. Whenever you are about to drink a coke switch it out with some water. Remember you don't always have to drink the same thing your friends drink although you can drink soda occasionally! I'm not saying never drink soda because trust me I love soda too but make sure you drink more water than soda. Stay healthy and Stay hydrated! Bye y'all!
